Our COVID Safety Measures
Beginning June 7, we will resume meeting for worship services only. They will be held each Sunday from 10:30-11:30am and will adhere to the following safety measures:
-
If you're a senior citizen or have an underlying health condition, please don't feel obligated to risk your health in order to attend. When deciding whether or not to attend, please do whatever is best for your health situation. We'll still be broadcasting the service live on our Facebook page - we welcome you to join us there! Remember, even when we're apart physically, we can still be together in spirit.
-
The CDC recommendations for churches suggest that everyone attending wear cloth face masks. We will leave this decision on wearing mask to each attendee. For children, their parents or guardians will decide. We will have masks and gloves available upon request, but encourage attendees to bring their own.
-
Temperatures will be taken via forehead thermometer prior to entering the building.
-
If you or a member of your household are experiencing respiratory symptoms, fever, or other illness, please help us protect others by staying home. You can still enjoy the morning's message virtually on Facebook.
-
Hand sanitizer will be available.
-
We will be following a social-distancing seating chart. Members of the same household will sit together but be separated from other households by at least 6 feet. At the end of the service, attendees will be dismissed one row at a time.
-
We will not be passing offering plates or using the wagon train to collect food items. Instead, drop-in boxes will be placed at sanctuary entrances for offerings and donations. For food items, boxes will be placed in the foyer on the last Sunday of each month.
-
The nursery will be closed. We will not be holding any children's activities (e.g. children's sermon, Extended Session) during the service.
-
Greeters will be available to answer questions and give directions or assistance if needed.
